According to the auditor of SHIB, Shiba Inu Coin reached the 1,000,000 holder milestone

According to data from Certik, the company that audited SHIB, Shiba Inu broke the 1,000,000 holders mark yesterday.

According to Certik, there are currently 1,014,758 unique addresses owning SHIB, and 32,000 new holders were added yesterday. This is only three weeks after SHIB reached the 750,000 milestone for the first time.

However, Certik’s data contrasts with Etherscan and CoinMarketCap’s data. The recommended number of holders for Etherscan is 958,000, while CoinMarketCap stated that SHIB has 985,000 holders.

1 million Shiba Inu Hodlers

The additional 250,000 holders of SHIB came after the token spent a lot of time dominating cryptocurrency discussions.

In the time between these two milestones, SHIB has reached several all-time highs (the last time it was $0.00008616), surpassed Dogecoin, and ranked among the top on Binance’s trading volume chart. Edward Snowden even mentioned SHIB on Twitter.

In fact, given that the exchange controls the top Shiba wallets by keeping users’ SHIB in a larger wallet instead of one per user, the number of SHIB holders may be much higher.

After achieving this achievement, ShibArmy will look forward to the next user milestones of 1,500,000 and 2,000,000. If SHIB can maintain a consistent rate of 10,000 users per day, it may reach 1,500,000 around New Year’s Day. By the end of February, it may attract 2,000,000 holders.

Although SHIB only lags behind the market value of Dogecoin, it is still some distance from the total number of DOGE addresses. According to CoinMarketCap, Dogecoin has 4,544,527 unique addresses.

This is not the only Shiba-related milestone this month. On November 5th, a petition listing SHIB on Robinhood received 500,000 signatures.

The price of SHIB is $0.00005314-it has risen by 3.1% in the past 24 hours, but has fallen by 9.7% in the past week.
